Scott Watkins
Scott WatkinsDirector, Chairman of the Board
Scott is based in both Seoul, Korea and in Melbourne, Australia. In Seoul he is directing new business development with KISCO, a Korean chemicals and inks manufacturer. Scott has a PhD in Chemistry and a strong interest in the communication and commercialisation of research and technologies and has extensive experience with a wide range of media.

Elena is Russian by birth and upbringing, a naturalised Australian and a graduate of a US university with a knack for global trends and new-generation business models. She is passionate about mobilising individuals to create realities that far exceed their experience, and about methodically catalysing systemic change in societies, and has worked, taught and helped establish non-profits across five continents. She is proud to support Pollinate Energy in its pioneering, brave and game-changing work.
Borris Couteaux

After graduating with honours from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM) in Business Engineering in 2010, Boris spent 5 years working at ING Bank in various positions within Commercial Banking. Passionate about the environment and social entrepreneurship, he decided to join Pollinate Energy in April 2015 to launch our 3rd city in Kolkata. He loved the experience (and the people) so much that he wanted to stay involved and keep sharing his experience and insights, so he’s really excited about being part of our Australian Board. When he’s not travelling the world, Boris enjoys having a good Belgian beer with friends on a sunny patio.

JJ’s experience spans the energy, finance and non-profit sectors. She has been a highly-rated equity analyst, employed by the world’s top energy companies and led a team creating a transparent not-for-profit “marketplace” at New Philanthropy Capital in London. Her work has shaped public debate and best practice on issues as diverse as charity impact, grant-making, violence against women and electric vehicles. JJ holds a first class honours degree in Engineering, a GradDip in Applied Finance and Investment, is Fellow of FINSIA and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has held directorships for a variety of corporate and non-profit organisations.
Alan Beattie
Alan BeattieDirector
Alan has nearly 20 years social enterprise experience having co-run for profit and not-for-profit entities where the for profit business generated funds which flowed through into the NFP. This work was mainly with Indigenous communities in rural and remote Australia. Over the past couple of years Alan has worked overseas in PNG and Nauru. In Nauru Alan worked with the refugee community developing micro/small businesses and employment opportunities. Recently Alan has taken on the role as Social Enterprise Manager with Holyoake in Perth. In 2016 Alan spent 3 months in India participating in Pollinates Professional Fellowship program in Kolkata, touring and exploring social business enterprises and other business opportunities in India.

Sanjay is the Managing Director of TT Limited, a Rs 800 crore vertically integrated textiles company listed on NSE and BSE. He is a MBA (Double Gold medalist) from IIM, Ahmedabad and also a CMA and ACS. He is also engaged with many Associations in various capacities. He has travelled to over 45 countries and his multi dimensional experience in operating and growing businesses will undoubtedly be a huge help for Pollinate Energy as it plans to grow across India!
Sudarshan Ananth

Sudarshan has completed 29 years of corporate journey starting as plant engineer and working up ranks to an executive management expat role of driving a $350Million multi country business with an US MNC and has served on board of entities he managed. Sudarshan is a Mechanical Engineering graduate and has attended executive leader program at Duke University Corporate Education ,USA and Certified Corporate Director program at Institute of Director. He has managed teams in over 13 countries, speaks 6 languages and proud of his legacy of building a renewable energy company as a startup business growing it to a $100M topline entity in 5 years at Wipro. Hobbies incl. Yoga, Reading and coaching young professionals. Keen to contribute to the success of Pollinate Energy.
Alexie Seller
Alexie SellerDirector
Alexie is a keen bean for all things energy, having graduated with first class honours from a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Arts, and worked for one of Australia’s most progressive renewable energy retailers before joining Pollinate. She spent much of her uni years teaching ballet, travelling and volunteering in Latin America, and coordinating projects with ALIV, an Australian based organisation working with asylum seekers, which somehow resulted in teaching Hip Hop on Christmas Island!

Alexie has also spent time directing the Engineers Without Borders’ Energy Hub in Sydney, and can often be found cycling and taking in the sights of her new hometown, Melbourne.

Ravi ShankarDirector
Ravi Shankar has been a Rural Manager for over three decades. He served as an Executive Director of the National Dairy Development Board. He has also served as the Managing Director of IDMC Limited (NDDB’s subsidiary) and the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India. He is currently the COO of Amul Dairy.
